StegoHome Wrap 6-Mil Vapor Retarder helps prevent the natural movement of moisture vapor and radon gas into the building envelope when installed beneath new, residential concrete slabs. Designed as a low-permeance plastic sheet membrane, it meets industry-performance standards and delivers long-term foundation protection—at a low price point that competes with commodity poly.
Unlike generic polyethylene sheeting, StegoHome Wrap 6-Mil provides better below-slab vapor protection than 6- or even 10-Mil thick poly. Its superior strength and low water vapor permeance give builders improved jobsite durability and significantly reduce the amount of moisture that can enter the foundation over the life of the home.
